Phir Hera Pheri is an Indian comedy film sequel to 2000 film Hera Pheri directed by Neeraj Vora. The film stars the three men from the previous film Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. Bipasha Basu and Rimi Sen are the leading actresses of the film. The movie released on 9 June 2006. The movie was inspired by Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and a sequence was inspired by Charlie Chaplin's The Circus. It was one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2006. The film was the first commercially successful sequel in Bollywood, starting a trend of sequels.
