In Tropic Thunder, a comedic action-packed spectacle, a group of self-absorbed actors find themselves in over their heads while shooting a big-budget war movie. Leading man Tugg Speedman (Ben Stiller) joins forces with five-time Academy Award-winning Australian method actor Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), action star Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black), and other eccentric cast members. However, the line between fiction and reality blurs as they're unwittingly thrown into real-life combat.
