Born on March 29, 1939, Terence Hill, whose real name is Mario Girotti, is an iconic Italian actor, director, and screenwriter known for his work in Spaghetti Westerns and action-comedy films. Hill gained international fame alongside his longtime collaborator, Bud Spencer, with whom he starred in popular films such as "They Call Me Trinity" (1970) and "Trinity Is Still My Name" (1971). His charismatic performances and unique blend of humor and action earned him a loyal fan base. Hill transitioned to television in the 2000s, starring in the hit Italian series "Don Matteo" (RAI, 2000- ), where he portrays a crime-solving priest. He has continued to work in Italian cinema, including the film "My Name Is Thomas" (2018), which he directed and starred in. More recently, Hill has remained active with appearances in "Don Matteo" and is celebrated for his contributions to both film and television over several decades.
