An English schoolteacher turned comedian, Welsh actor and writer Greg Davies has appeared in several popular British comedy series and panel shows. After winning a prestigious comedy newcomer award in 2002, Davies spent several years honing his skills on quiz shows, reality competitions, and live stage shows. In 2008 he was cast as the mean-spirited sixth-form headmaster Mr. Gilbert in the popular series "The Inbetweeners," a role he later reprised in the 2010 big-screen adaptation. Davies has written and starred in the successful sketch comedy series "We are Klang," and portrayed American comedian Andy Samberg's reluctant father-in-law on the hit BBC series "Cuckoo."
